Charmer

Oh Boy! How can a person with only 2 teeth, who drools, and who prefers to run around naked be so adorable?!?! This family has a special place in my heart and it was my pleasure to be able to capture him at this most-wonderful age!

He has the BEST squishy feet that he rests on top of one another. The chubbiest little legs, and the sweetest smile. And his mom & sister aren't bad, either!

Enjoy! But fair warning that these images might give you the "i want a baby" urge!

Family Fun

This was such a fun family and a wonderful session. I knew it would be good when mom said "I don't own anything matchy-matchy - I just need to find clothes without holes"!! That's real!

We focused on things the kids do everyday, like skateboarding, riding bikes, jumping on the trampoline. The children were so kind, and I was lucky that they let me in to capture of bit of each of them.

THANKS guys!!

Family

It was a sunny but cool and windy day for this session. The kids were so sweet and patient. I love to see the individual personalities of each child in a family.

The wind paid off in this stunning shot!

Little Dude. He's surrounded by sisters!

Sweet little girl who took care of my stuffed-froggie during the session!

The baby!

The Object of Their Affection

There is a lot of love and affection for the newest member of this family. She was so sweet and cuddly. Big sister was very gentle and loving and quick to tell me all about what her little sister liked. And she asked me lots of "why" questions. Why is she on the blanket? Why is the heater on? Why do you have "fill in blank"? Why is she lying here? Why. Why. Why.

It was a pleasure - thank you guys!!! Congratulations!!!

Baby-licious

I had the pleasure of photographing this adorable little boy last week. His eyes are beautiful. His baby-chub is yummy. He is the apple of his parents' eyes!

His mom is a former kindergarten teacher, so they have LOTS of wonderful books. I've spent so many days and evenings snuggling with my kids reading to them. It's one of my favorite things to do - cuddling them, smelling them, feeling their soft hands. Such a simple pleasure. But then, the best things in life are simple. And sweet. And a picture can trigger those sights, smells, and feelings many years down the road.

Family Preview

Had a fun afternoon with this family, in their beautiful park, I mean back yard! Chased little J-man around a bit. Chatted with big brother. Encouraged a bon-fire even though it was *kind of* hot. Got some fun family pictures!

Love this one of big & little brother

Watch out, here he comes!

"Blast Off!"

Where's J?

Life

One of the reasons that I love photographing in homes is that I can capture the little things that happen on a day to day basis. Mom and Dad working, baby in the "office", dogs hanging around wanting some love.

This is slice of their life as a young, busy, working family.

And just a few to share of mommy and baby. Simple, quiet moments together.

6 Months and Lots of Love

This little guy is now 6 months old and quite the character. Such a cutie pie. It's clear that he brings lots of joy to his parents world.

In his beautiful antique crib with funky-cool bedding!

His "Hamptons" look, courtesy of Grammy!

Sharing a few moments while the little guy was sleeping in the car. I love this picture!!

The little family - I adore this shot. Each one of them is truly happy in this moment

And one more - I can't resist his look in this one!

Love It!

OK - this is one of my favorite sibling shots ever - sooooooooo true to what many of us can remember as kids - or are watching as parents. Big brother tormenting sister. Middle brother trying to corral little brother. Little brother just wanting to be around. All I did was direct them where to sit. The rest happened naturally. Just the way it "is".

This would be my Christmas card, for sure!

Family

I had a fun morning with this family of 5. Three fun, sweet little girls. I really enjoy working with families and capturing the many relationships - father and daughter, mother and father, sisters. The mom wanted me to get images of them in their backyard, where they spend a lot of time as a family. The girls all playing, running, laughing, just "being". It was hard to pick just a few to post!
