Sunshine today!! Yeah! Even though it is freezing and we still have snow on the ground, the sun makes it all better!
And good hair of course.

He is almost 2. He is my last baby. I'm feeling the pain that pulls deep in a mother's heart as her children grow. Bittersweet.

If you find that you are rarely in photos because you are usually behind the camera, remind yourself to use your self-timer and get in those photos!! I always forget, but yesterday I decided to take a few "self-portraits" with my son.

A Calendar Opening & Baby Love

OK - on with the good stuff! I love babies (I guess most people do), and I love, love, love the fat little parts of babies; arms, cheeks, legs, hands, etc! I don't think I'll have anymore babies of my own, so I am extremely grateful to the clients and friends that invite me into their families for brief periods of time to share a piece of that fleeting period - childhood!

Family

Last weekend my family and I (minus 1 little devil) traveled to South Carolina for my brother-in-law's wedding. While there, I was able to photograph my other brother & sister in-law and their family. I got some really fun, colorful family photos and a few really great shots of mom & dad.

As for the 2nd shot, well, I am drawn to holding hands...I can't help myself! If I photograph you or your kids, I'll probably either ask for hands or feet pictures!!
